A bridle made of worked wood, comfortable to hold in the hand and provides a good grip when used. The bridle is used to temporarily give the horse a calming effect and pain relief and can be similar to the effect of acupuncture. When the bridle is tightened on the horse's upper lip, it temporarily paralyzes the nervous system and can relieve acute pain, or to keep the horse still when, for example, washing wounds that can otherwise be painful for the horse.
