Bombers Eggbit prevents the horse from being pinched in the lips/corner of the mouth by the bit rings and gives a more stable feeling to the horse. Eggbit makes the bit sit still in the horse's mouth. Bombers Snaffle is a popular bit thanks to the curved mouthpieces that distribute the pressure more evenly over the tongue and larynx. It reduces the nutcracker effect which results in the horse lifting its head and therefore offers a solution for the horse that runs with its head down.
