Bombers Pelham 55 Elliptical Lock Up

The Bombers Pelham has rings for attaching two pairs of reins, one pair at the mouthpiece and one pair at the bottom of the shank. This gives an effect similar to that of riding on a bit. Some riders, who find it difficult to handle two pairs of reins, use a delta that is inserted into both bit rings, a rein is then attached to the delta. The Pelham 55 has the shortest shank in the Bombers range (55 mm), it gives less leverage and pressure on the neck than a bit with a longer shank. Supplied with cheek chain and hooks. Elliptical Lock Up is a three-piece mouthpiece with a locked, elliptically shaped center part, which prevents the nutcracker effect. It gives less pressure on the lanes, but more on the tongue. The Elliptical Lock Up is therefore a softer alternative than the regular Elliptical, but stronger than a Control Plate.
