Egg bits are suitable for horses that have sensitive corners of the mouth, as they prevent the horse from getting pinched which can happen with loose rings. This bit acts on the tongue, neck and corners of the mouth. The gag effect puts pressure on the horse's corners of the mouth and neck. The bit can be used with one or two pairs of reins.
