Novocontact bits are designed to create a unique oval shape in the horse's mouth. This expands the contact surface of the tongue without affecting the palate, while the rider maintains a stable contact in the hand.

When the rider takes a rein, the mouthpiece turns forward and the contact surface becomes narrower, which provides more precise and effective communication. When the rider releases the reins again, the mouthpiece returns to its original position and the flat part lies softly and gently on the tongue again.

Novocontact bits improve the interaction between horse and rider through better contact and acceptance of the bit. This makes it perfect for horses that sometimes tend to resist the bit and become strong, but are still too sensitive to be ridden with sharper bits. The bits are made of sensogan, which has been developed to further meet today's riding and horse demands. The inclusion of manganese and zinc provides a durable bit with less oxidation and also makes the horse easier to accept the bit.
