Standard Vitamin C Plus
Standard C-Vita Plus – for joints and connective tissue.
Standard C-Vita+ contains, among other things, calcium ascorbate (acid-neutralized vitamin C) and silicon. Both are important components in the production of connective tissue (collagen), bones, skin, blood vessels and teeth. In cases of damage to the skeleton (osteoarthritis), the connective tissue has been exposed to inflammation (arthritis) with high stress and may then need some help from extra nutrition.
Connective tissue is a tough, protective membrane around the skeleton and all internal organs. They can also help stimulate the production and increase the quality of collagen. Also contains vitamin E and Selenium which increases blood flow in the muscles.
Vitamins & minerals/trace elements can contribute to:
- Calcium/phosphorus metabolism.
- Collagen production.
- Muscle tissues.
- The connective tissue/bone formation process.
- Blood flow in muscles is stimulated.
Diet-related problems can lead to:
- Muscle wasting.
- Muscle stiffness.
- Stiffness in joints.
- Growth disorders.
- Plantar fasciitis.
- Tartar formation.
Composition:
Herb (horsetail).
Analytical constituents:
Raw ash 23.5% (of which silicon 1%), plant fiber 4%.
Additives/kg:
Vitamins: C 970g (acid-neutralized calcium ascorbate), E 10500mg.
Minerals/trace elements: Silicon 30,000 mg, selenium 135 mg.
Dosage per day:
Dog/kg:
0-10 kg – 0.5 krm.
10-20 kg – 1 krm.
20-30 kg – 2 krm.
30+ kg – 3 krm.
Cat/kg:
0-5 kg – 0.25 krm.
2.5-7.5 kg – 0.5 krm.
The dosage should be distributed over all meals of the day. Should be phased in by +1/4 dose each week until the full dose is reached.
1 krm = approximately 0.85 grams.
