Trikem Vimital Vitamin C
Vitamin C contains 100% ascorbic acid and is a supplementary feed for horses. Vitamin C functions as an antioxidant and is needed for the body's formation of collagen. A lack of vitamin C can have a negative impact on the immune system, reduce joint cartilage and the development of osteoarthritis and have a positive impact on wound healing. The older horse may have a reduced production of vitamin C, as well as horses in hard work consume more vitamin C than they have time to produce and can therefore benefit from extra supplementation.
