Horses accept leather bits very well and almost all horses like the feel of leather in their mouths and react with increased salivation, become relaxed and start chewing on the bit. The more the horse salivates, the better the bit glides in the mouth, increasing the well-being of your horse. The anatomical shape is further improved when the mouthpiece gets wet, as it then molds to the horse's mouth.

Leather bits are suitable for young and very sensitive horses. Even horses that do not usually like having bits in their mouths often accept this material and can learn to trust the rider's hand again. The leather is vegetable tanned and hand-sewn. NOTE: Before using a leather bit for the first time, soak it in cooking oil until the leather is completely saturated. This should be repeated when the leather starts to look dry. Remember to rinse the bit thoroughly after riding as saliva can shorten the life of the leather.

Kimblewick distributes pressure across the lower jaw, neck and mouth. Three different rein placement options depending on how much leverage you want. This mouthpiece is not suitable for horses that bite the bit.

The bit is therefore not covered by warranty or right of complaint if the damage occurred due to the horse biting the bit.
