Beris Three-ring Butterfly soft
Beris Three-ring Butterfly soft
The butterfly mouthpiece provides the correct anatomical shape in combination with a wider surface against the tongue, giving the sensitive muscle an optimal space with a very soft influence. Horses show their well-being by relaxing their jaw and sucking on the bit. If a sharper effect of the bit is desired, a side piece with a leverage effect, such as a pelham, can be used. It can also have a mild corrective effect if the horse is hanging on the bit, then the rider can raise his hand so that the edge of the bit is against the tongue and thus tells the horse to stop hanging, of course this is followed by a concession and normal hand position. Multi-ring bits introduce neck pressure and also create a certain leverage effect if you use a cheek chain/strap on the bit, without a chain/strap it will instead be a gag effect. How sharp an effect you want is affected by which of the rings you put the reins in. This bit is often used when you want to test whether the horse enjoys a bit with leverage. Can be used with double reins or delta reins. This mouthpiece is not suitable for horses that bite the bit. The bit is therefore not covered by warranty or right of complaint if the damage has occurred due to the horse biting the bit.
