Bomber's 2 1/2 ring Molded Preferred contact
Bomber's 2 1/2 ring Molded Preferred contact
Bomber's multi-ring bit introduces neck pressure and also creates some leverage on the mouthpiece. The 2 1/2-ring version is the gentlest version of the multi-ring bit because the 1/2 ring provides less pressure compared to a full ring below the large ring. Multi-ring bits are also called Pessoa bits. Bomber's Moulded Preferred Contact has cylindrical sides and a flat center section. The cylindrical sides curve over the lower jaw and linguals, and the flat center section lies flat over the tongue. The center section is a flat oval circle that is angled at 45 degrees to lie flat against the tongue and palate. The hinged section on either side of the tongue plate gives the cylindrical sides independent impact and stability in the center section. The moulded bit is good for horses that don't like metal, or when you've tried everything without success. The moulded bit from Bombers has been uniquely developed to ensure three important properties: structure, durability and comfort. Moulded Preferred Contact has been specifically designed for cases where Bomber's tongue-free methods have not worked, and where some form of tongue pressure is needed. Bomber's philosophy is to always try to distribute and spread the pressure, especially away from sensitive areas. Like all Bomber steel components, the wire inside the bit and the side pieces are covered by a lifetime guarantee. This mouthpiece is not suitable for horses that bite the bit. The bit is therefore not covered by the guarantee or right of complaint if the damage has occurred due to the horse biting the bit.
