Bombers 2 1/2-ring Snaffle

Bomber's multi-ring bit introduces neck pressure and also creates some leverage on the mouthpiece. The 2 1/2 ring version is the gentlest version of the multi-ring bit because the 1/2 ring provides less pressure compared to a full ring below the large ring. Multi-ring bits are also called Pessoa bits. Snaffle is a popular bit due to the curved mouthpieces that distribute pressure more evenly across the tongue and larynx. This reduces the nutcracker effect which results in the horse lifting its head and therefore offers a solution for the horse that runs with its head down.
