Bombers Kimblewick Elliptical Lock Up
Bombers Kimblewick Elliptical Lock Up
The Bombers Kimblewick is similar to a pelham bit and the strength of a Kimblewick varies depending on the rider's hand position. The reins slide on the D-shaped bit ring. If the hands are lowered before the rein is taken, the reins will slide slightly and the bit will end up at a young degree angle in the mouth. This causes the bit to act in a downward and backward movement on the horse's jaw, this is combined with a certain pressure on the neck and causes the horse to lower its head. Supplied with a nylon jaw strap. Elliptical Lock Up is a three-piece mouthpiece with a locked, elliptically shaped center part, which prevents the nutcracker effect. It gives less pressure on the lanes, but more on the tongue. Elliptical Lock Up is therefore a softer alternative than the regular Elliptical, but stronger than a Control Plate.
