Bombers Pelham 55 Elliptical

The Pelham has rings for attaching two pairs of reins, one pair at the mouthpiece and one pair at the bottom of the shank. This gives an effect similar to that of riding on bridle reins. Some riders, who find it difficult to handle two pairs of reins, use a delta that is inserted into both bit rings, a rein is then attached to the delta.
