Sprenger Babypelham is a pelham bit with short shanks. Sprenger pelham gives more control over a strong or powerful horse. The leverage effect on the bit can be varied by how the rein is attached to the bit, most often it is used with a delta or with two reins. The cheek chain should be tightened so that the bar is at a 45 degree angle to the corner of the mouth to avoid too strong leverage. Provides precise & effective reining assistance because the bit's effect is on the laner, tongue & lower jaw at the same time. Made of stainless steel and has a shank of 4.5 cm.
