Metalab Scourier Bit
A two-piece Scourier bit from Metalab, with four rings, where two rings are attached to the side pieces of the bridle, and the reins are attached to the two outer rings. When the rider takes a rein, pressure is created against the sides of the horse's mouth, which gives a quicker and more responsive effect. Since the reins are in the outer rings and the inner ones only attach to the side pieces, it prevents the bit rings from going through the horse's mouth if you take a leading rein. One side is grooved for increased sensitivity in the mouth and to prevent the horse from biting the bit. The Scourier bit is recommended for experienced riders with a soft hand as it is a sharp bit.
