Mattes Extra insert for Correction pad

The Mattes pads are available with the CORRECTION system and we supply three 5 mm thick felt inserts (POLY-FLEX®) for each pocket, which provides the same pressure relief as a new, good quality saddle, padded with wool and horsehair.

The pads are developed with the CORRECTION system to enable flexible and easy changes of the saddle fit by up to 30 mm: to easily compensate for the rapid physical development of young horses during training, for horses that have been out of work for some time or for trained horses that change shape a lot during the competition season, whenever quick changes are needed.
Simply add extra padding, or just as importantly, remove it, to suit the horse's changing shape. It is crucial to balance out long-term irregularities in conformation. These should never be corrected by adjusting the saddle itself!
