Kentucky has created its own in-house testing machine that creates a force of 80N falling onto a horizontal horse leg with a razor-sharp axe. The Bamboo Shield leg guard withstands this extreme test method that cannot be compared to any real-life impact during riding.

Fabrics & Materials Vegan Sheepskin Tendon Boots Bamboo Elastic are made from our highly breathable vegan sheepskin that has been used for many years for our famous transport halters, show blankets and girths. They have a robust outer shell made from a lightweight yet strong TPU shell, with an additional bamboo shield insert in the tendon area for optimal protection against impacts and blows from sharp objects and are also antibacterial.

Shape and size Thanks to the anatomically shaped design, the boots fit snugly around the horse's leg to provide maximum comfort and protection. This allows the horse to have maximum freedom of movement for better jumping. The soft and flexible rubber insert under the joint also gives the horse better movement comfort.

Care instructions The shin guards can be machine washed at 30°C (do not tumble dry). We always recommend using a laundry bag to avoid scratches caused by tumble drying. You can easily use our boot cleaner, specially formulated for TPU shin guards, to give the guards the finishing touch so they look like new.
