Horses sweat a lot, which means that the horse loses vital electrolytes, especially sodium, but also other substances such as calcium and magnesium. These substances are very important for chemical balance and energy supply. The consequences of electrolyte deficiency include fatigue, muscle cramps, nervousness and reduced appetite.

Fluid loss and electrolyte consumption are very closely related, the more the horse sweats, the more electrolytes he loses. It is therefore always extra important to offer the horse water during exertion = sweating on hot days etc. Giving the horse salt is often enough to restore the electrolyte balance. When you also give electrolytes, you also supply supplementary substances that are lost through sweating.

ELYTAAN is a liquid dietary supplement developed to compensate for electrolyte loss during heavy sweating in horses. ELYTAAN contains electrolytes, easily absorbable trace elements (IPALIGO®), B vitamins and essential amino acids.

Use:
Recommended during periods of high physical exertion such as training and competition, as well as during the recovery phase, especially in hot climates.

Feeding instructions:
Horse (500kg): 20-40 ml/day, Foal and pony: 10-20 ml 1-3 days.
Give in the food, water or directly into the mouth. Always give the horse free access to water.

Due to the content of trace elements, the product should not be given in doses exceeding 800 ml/500 kg horse/day.
