Equistro Excell-E
Equistro Excell-E has high bioavailability of Vitamin E, organic Selenium, Magnesium and L-Lysine.
Today, most horse owners are aware that the horse cannot get the necessary daily supply of vitamin E through the basic feed. All the muscles and organs of the body require oxygen to function. Oxygen is transported to the working parts of the body via the blood; when a muscle is at rest, its oxygen requirement is minimal. When the muscle is ordered to contract to perform a movement, energy and thus oxygen are needed, i.e. increased blood supply to the muscle. If there is a sufficient amount of vitamin E, a muscle can perform this work without complications. Vitamin E and selenium work together and protect muscles and nerve cells.
Vitamin E and Selenium enhance each other's functions. Treatment with selenium and vitamin E has been practiced for many years in veterinary medicine against muscle wasting.
Deficiency symptoms: weak foals, poorly muscled young horses, loss of performance and stiffness.
Vitamin E is an antioxidant. A lack of vitamin E weakens red blood cells – vitamin E supplementation strengthens them. If many red blood cells are destroyed, anemia occurs.
If the skin is damaged for any reason, the body's defense resources are mobilized to repair the damage. Vitamin E plays a major role in wound healing. Which increases blood flow to the affected area.
Vitamin E affects the horse's performance and endurance, and is an important vitamin for the horse's recovery. Vitamin E is especially important for competition horses and for horses that perform harder work, or are physically stressed in other ways.
