Trust Sweet Iron Combination Bit Short Shank 3-piece

The 3-piece mouthpiece follows the natural shape of the horse's mouth thanks to its anatomical design. In addition, the centrally placed link distributes pressure evenly across the tongue, which provides a softer impact than a 2-piece bit. At the same time, it sits firmly but still has some movement in the mouth, which contributes to both comfort and control.

The combination bit has a short shank which provides a gentler leverage effect than one with a long shank. The pressure is distributed across both the bridge of the nose and the mouth, creating an even and well-balanced impact. The adjustable screw above the mouthpiece makes it possible to fine-tune how much pressure is applied to the nose. The lower the screw is, the greater the pressure on the nose.

For best performance, the chin strap should be adjusted correctly – not too loose and not too tight – so that the noseband is well adjusted and stays in place. The side pieces of the bridle are attached to the rectangular part that provides stability during riding.
