The Trust Sweet Iron 2.5-ring two-piece combines a two-piece mouthpiece with a 2.5-ring side piece, giving a balanced feel between clear support and flexible movement. Since the mouthpiece only has one joint, it works primarily on the lanes and sides of the tongue - while putting less pressure on the middle of the tongue. This makes it particularly suitable for horses that prefer a simpler, more direct support.

A 2.5-ring bit is a softer version of the classic 3-ring Pessoa bit. By adjusting the position of the reins, you can influence the sharpness of the bit: the lower you attach the reins, the greater the leverage. At the same time, the loose rings allow more movement in the bit, which in turn creates a softer, more flexible feel in the hand compared to fixed rings.

In addition, the bit provides a slight leverage effect, where the pressure is distributed across the neck – just behind the ears. This makes the bit useful when you need more control, but still want to maintain compliance.
