The Trust Sweet Iron 2.5-ring egg bit combines a two-piece mouthpiece with a 2.5-ring egg bit side piece, creating a balanced feel between clear aids and supple contact. As the mouthpiece has only one joint, it distributes pressure primarily over the lanes and sides of the tongue – while minimizing pressure over the center of the tongue. This makes the bit particularly suitable for horses that prefer simple and direct support.

The 2.5 ring side piece acts as a softer version of the classic 3 ring Pessoa bit. Here you can easily adjust the impact: the further down you place the reins, the stronger the leverage effect you get. In addition, the bit provides a clear pressure over the neck, just behind the ears – without being too sharp.

Unlike a 2.5 ring with loose rings, this bit with an egg bit ring provides less movement in the bit. This means that the mouthpiece sits more stable in the horse's mouth, which is suitable for horses that enjoy stillness and clear signals.
