The Trust Sweet Iron Baby Pelham Cherry Roller combines a gentle leverage effect with an active mouthpiece that encourages focus in the horse. The Cherry Roller mouthpiece has a two-piece design with movable rollers along the sides. The rollers move freely when the horse chews, which in turn makes it more difficult for the horse to grip or bite the bit. The rollers thus create a more relaxed and soft contact. At the same time, the rollers help to keep the horse focused and active in the mouth. Something that is particularly valuable for horses that otherwise easily become strong, lock up or lose concentration.

Because the Baby Pelham version has shorter shanks, it provides a gentler leverage effect than a traditional Pelham. The pressure is on the horse's neck and chin, which in turn helps the rider frame the horse without being too sharp. You can ride with two reins for more precision. Or you can attach a pelham delta between the rings and use one rein for easier handling.

A cheek chain is included and should fit correctly to provide the right effect without causing discomfort.
