Biofarmab Fiberplex Sensitive - Dietary feed supplement for horses WITHOUT yeast! Combats chronic digestive disorders. A combination of digestively beneficial fibers with specially grown fermented yeast of the Saccharomyces cerevisiae culture as well as lecithin, methionine and B vitamins.

Many of our horses have problems that can lead to digestive problems. Stomach ulcers and imbalances in the intestinal flora are common in, for example, competition horses. Stress, high concentrate rations, too low fiber content, etc. are considered to be the causes of these problems. The symptoms are often difficult to detect, but a common denominator can be reduced performance.

FiberPlex is broad-spectrum, which means that it has a positive impact on a large part of the digestive system.

FiberPlex is based on a fiber complex and lecithin, which together are active in a large part of the digestive system. Lecithin is supposed to be found in the stomach and protects the mucous membranes there against stomach acid.

FiberPlex also contains the fiber concentrate PV70, extracted from the cell walls of Swedish potatoes, which in experiments has been shown to increase enzyme activity. This helps the protein in the feed to be metabolized more efficiently, among other things by releasing the essential amino acid lysine. PV70 works mainly in the pancreas and small intestine.

FiberPlex also contains a fermented yeast culture that provides nutrition to the microorganisms in the cecum and large intestine. A healthy microflora is important as it leads to better nutrient absorption of the feed, which in turn leads to better performance. Inulin interacts with the yeast culture to help beneficial microorganisms establish themselves in the intestine and in this way balances the pH in the stomach and intestine. This leads to better breakdown of the feed, which provides more efficient nutrient absorption of roughage and concentrates.

FiberPlex has a high water retention capacity which is important if the horse has diarrhea. Diarrhea occurs when the intestinal flora is disturbed, which favors the growth of the wrong type of bacteria that disrupts the intestinal culture. The breakdown of the feed then has a negative effect, which in turn affects nutrient absorption and, in the long run, also the immune system in a negative way.

FiberPlex is also enriched with important B vitamins and the amino acid methionine. This provides a delayed peak of both insulin and glucose in the blood. In practice, this results in calmer horses with greater well-being as a result, which is important for horses with stress-related digestive problems.

COMPOSITION Potato cell wall fibers, lecithin, inulin

DOSAGE / DIRECTIONS FOR USE Horses up to 500 kg: 1.5 dl powder, mix well with 3.5 dl water. Give 2 times/day for 1-6 months.

Horses over 500 kg: 2 dl powder, mix well with 4.5 dl water. Give 2 times/day for 1-6 months.

C-pony and smaller: 1dl powder mixed well with 2.5 dl water. Give 2 times/day for 1-6 months.

Mix immediately before feeding, distribute the mixture in the concentrate ration. It is recommended to consult a veterinarian before use or when extending the feeding period.
