Fager Anton is a good choice if you would describe your horse as the following;- The Tongue
- Pulls head up, tries to break free from contact
- Strong, and/or hangs on the bite.
The Kimblehook has a more direct effect compared to leverage bits with longer shanks; the further down the rein is placed, the more leverage the bit will provide. However, the breaks will never go up or press on the palate.
Fager Anton is a very comfortable bit that naturally shapes around the tongue and relieves the bridle from constant pressure. An ideal design for sensitive horses that can also easily get sores in the corners of the mouth or on the inside of the cheek.
