The mouthpiece is designed to follow the horse's natural shape and provide less constant pressure.

The copper roll is higher than the side parts, which provides point pressure against the tongue when pulling the reins. This helps you to retrieve more easily and smoothly and return to a softer support to the hand.

The copper roll also gives the horse something to play with, which can be good for horses that get a little dumb at times.

Jenny has a lot of flavor in both the copper roll and the sweet ore coating on the side parts, which helps the horse accept the bit. At the same time, the copper roll helps to get a quick response from the reins if the horse becomes too strong or dumb.

Fager mouthpieces are always horizontally straight – none have a large forward bend. We design them this way to maintain the correct balance point (BP) in the mouth. A bite with a larger forward bend also shifts the balance point which stops the effectiveness of the aids.

The balance point remains even if the bit has tongue freedom.
