John Beval

Fager John is a three-piece Beval bit. The mouthpiece design is the same thickness throughout without any breaks that can press against the tongue or palate. The soft breaks are designed to not give any point pressure on the tongue, tongues or palate. This makes the bit a comfortable bit that follows the shape of the mouth.

The straight, slim design enhances your reins and creates more direct and precise contact.
Beval bit works in the same way as a universal bit or a 2.5 ring bit but gives a gentler effect as the rings are completely recessed into the larger bit ring. Gives a flexible, supple feel in the hand. The side pieces can be used with the reins in several positions depending on the effect you want from the bit.
It can also be used as a gag bit by adding a gag rein. The gag rein can easily move through the rings thanks to its shape.
