Fager Madeleine is the perfect choice if you would describe your horse as the following;

Madeleine is a three-piece titanium Bridong, but can also be used as a bridle bit. The design is simple, unique and designed with the horse's maximum comfort in mind. The entire bit, including the breaks, is 100% soft, which creates softness and freedom in the mouth.

The breaks are designed to never press against the palate. The mouthpiece naturally follows the mouth while relieving pressure from the reins. Madeleine is a perfect solution for the sensitive horse who easily gets pressure sores in the mouth.

The light weight and straightness help for a more clear contact with the horse.

Madeleine is made with Fager's NEW Anoblast™ technology which provides the highest quality titanium bit on the market. The grey colour comes through a natural process during production so no other colouring is required.

When you use Mary with Fager's bridles, it weighs a full 400g less than a normal bridle set!

Fagers mouthpieces always have a horizontal shape and therefore never have a large forward bend. We do this to get a correct balance point (BP) in the mouth. A bite with a larger forward bend also moves the balance point which stops the effectiveness of the aids.

This design also prevents injuries such as wounds, pressure injuries and chafing on the lines.

NOTE: The balance point will still be correct, even if it has a slight bend over the tongue.

We recommend having the bridle the same size as your bridle bit, the bar can be ½ -1 cm larger.
