Fager Marcus Beval
Fager Marcus Beval Sötmalm
Fager Marcus is suitable if you would describe your horse as the following;- Resists the bite but reacts to increased pressure.
- Unstable in contact.
- Need to seek more support with the bite without becoming numb in the hand.
- Not accepting the bite.
- Who doesn't naturally seek contact.
Fager Marcus has everything you could want! Smooth transitions without point pressure.
The unique mouthpiece is not the same thickness all the way through, with some breaks that can get in the way and press against the tongue or palate. The middle part breaks off at the side of the tongue and forms comfortably in the mouth.
Sweet ore naturally oxidizes and rusts when used. This oxidation process creates a “sweet” taste that increases and encourages salivation. If you are looking for more contact in the hand, we recommend using a bit with sweet ore as the taste encourages the horse to seek support with the hand.
Fager mouthpieces are always horizontally straight – none have a large forward bend. We design them this way to maintain the correct balance point (BP) in the mouth. A bite with a larger forward bend also shifts the balance point which stops the effectiveness of the aids.
This makes this bit a perfect solution for the sensitive horse that easily gets pressure sores in the mouth.
Beval bit works in the same way as a universal bit or a 2.5 ring bit but gives a gentler effect as the rings are completely recessed into the larger bit ring. Provides a flexible, pliable feel in the hand.
The side pieces can be used with the reins in several positions depending on the effect you want from the bit.
It can also be used as a gag bit by adding a gag rein. The gag rein can easily move through the rings thanks to its shape.
