Fager Marcus Show Pelham

Fager Marcus is a three-piece bit with tongue freedom. The mouthpiece design is the same thickness throughout without any breaks that can press against the tongue or palate. The soft breaks are designed to not give any point pressure on the tongue, tongues or palate. This makes the bit a comfortable bit that follows the shape of the mouth.

The straight, slim design enhances your reins and creates more direct and precise contact.

The side pieces are good for creating a frame for horses that have a tendency to get stuck in the hand.

Fager's show pelham design offers the best of both worlds, stability without a stiff feel. The Show Pelham side piece is similar to a regular pelham, but thanks to its clever design, it creates more flexibility without losing the framing.

The loose ring is placed on the outside, which allows the horse to shape itself more freely and comfortably, and creates a clearer and faster response.

The outer placement of the loose ring also creates a lifting effect. The stable side part is good for horses that rub easily and gives a framing feeling.

We recommend either using the Show pelham with a delta rein or two reins, one in the large loose ring and one in the small ring.

With two reins you can easily adjust how much leverage you want from the bit by shortening or lengthening the rein attached to the bottom ring. With more leverage you get a slightly lower neck and more power, with less leverage you can instead get the horse up a little more in the neck and a little less power. If you use Fager's adjustable delta you have the same choice without having to use 2 reins.

This unique design is equivalent to Loose Baucher but with leverage.
