Fager Mary is suitable if you would describe your horse as the following;

• Shows discomfort from most bites you've tried.
• Feels stiff on one or both sides.
• Pulls head up/pulls head down.
• Not accepting the bite.

Fager Mary has everything you could want! Soft transitions without point pressure.

It has a fantastic design with a 100% smooth surface, even over the breaks. The middle part breaks off at the side of the tongue and molds comfortably in the mouth.

Mary is made with Fager's new Anoblast™ technology which enables an incredibly high quality. The grey colour comes through a natural process during production so no other colouring is required.

Fager mouthpieces are always horizontally straight – none have a large forward bend. We design them this way to maintain the correct balance point (BP) in the mouth. When the bite has a larger forward bend, you also move the balance point which stops the effectiveness of the aids.

This makes this bit a perfect solution for the sensitive horse that easily gets pressure sores in the mouth.

The balance point remains even if the bit has tongue freedom.

When you use Mary with Fager's bridles, it weighs a full 400g less than a normal bridle set!

We recommend having the bridle the same size as your bridle bit, the bar can be ½ -1 cm larger.

Note: Mary has the same mouthpiece as Maria. Maria is the bridle version = normal rings. Mary is the bridle version = smaller rings.
