Sally Baucher
Fager Sally Baucher Titan
Approved for dressage according to TR 2023, shank 5cm!Fager Sally is a good choice if you would describe your horse as the following;
- Numb in the hand.
- Strong, can pull the reins out of his hands and put himself on the bit
- Trying to put the tongue over the bite
- Tosses his head and tries to avoid contact.
The anatomical shape of the mouthpiece follows the natural shape of the mouth and distributes pressure evenly between the reins and tongue. This bit is often appreciated by horses with a large, sensitive tongue.
The short center piece reduces the risk of the bit coming into contact with the palate because the break is placed on the outside of the tongue. Sally is also suitable for horses with a low and/or short palate with a large, sensitive tongue.
Baucher is designed to protect the corners of the mouth and front molars by placing the pressure further forward in the mouth.
A boucher is preferable if you have problems with sores in the corners of your mouth or wear on your molars (P2). It relieves the corners of your mouth, molars and gums from the constant pressure.
Fagers mouthpieces always have a horizontal shape and therefore never have a large forward bend. We do this to get a correct balance point (BP) in the mouth. A bite with a larger forward bend also moves the balance point which stops the effectiveness of the aids.
This design also prevents injuries such as wounds, pressure injuries and chafing on the lines.
Fager Sally is a lightweight three-piece titanium bite with no locking mechanism.
The bite is made with Fager's new Anoblast™ technology which enables an incredibly high quality. The grey colour comes through a natural process during production so no other colouring is required.
