In winter, horses and ponies develop a thick, warm winter coat, which tends to sweat a lot during intensive exercise. The sweat makes the coat damp and the horse can catch a cold. If you want to avoid the hassle of dry riding or sweating, the Aesculap Bonum battery clipper is the perfect choice for clipping horses. The clipper also cuts thick horse fur precisely and thoroughly. The horse clipper has good battery performance that guarantees high traction. Due to its smooth running, it is also popular for clipping nervous horses.
With a length of 29.5 cm and only 900 grams, the cordless horse clipper is much lighter than other models, very short, extremely practical and well-balanced thanks to its ergonomic design. With its slim housing, the Aesculap Bonum horse clipper is also suitable for smaller hands. The recessed push button prevents the device from being accidentally switched on or off during clipping.
The Aesculap Bonum horse clipper is also equipped with an intelligent lithium-ion battery system. On the one hand, this battery technology protects the device from overheating and switches off operation until it cools down if the battery temperature is > 50 °C. On the other hand, the new Li-Ion battery technology causes no "memory effect" - the battery retains its full power even with different charging cycles.
The pre-assembled blade set made of durable carbon steel provides a smooth cutting pattern with a cutting length of approximately 3 mm. The cutting blades can be resharpened several times. In addition to the machine, you get one or more rechargeable batteries for extra long cutting time, depending on the model.
