See the ration as a suggestion. Should be adapted to the individual/activity/season. approx. 12 months shelf life under good storage conditions. Always store the food in the sack/bag, dark, cool and dry. Can be given both dry or soaked. Our recommendation is to spread the ration with an even number of hours between each meal over a day, preferably 3 to 4 times per day. In cold weather, consider increasing the ration by 5%-10% to adapt to your dog's increased energy consumption. WHEN CHANGING FOOD: A healthy individual should be phased in for approx. 4-6 weeks. When changing food, the intestinal bacterial flora, i.e. microbiome (which is an important part of the immune system), is always affected. This affects the intestinal nutrient absorption and stool quality. Therefore, give your dog a well-balanced adaptation period when changing food. The greater the differences in raw materials between the different types of food, the more important it is to have a slow and stable transition/phasing in. If the dog also has dietary problems, you should take extra time when transitioning/phasing in. The intestinal bacteria need much more extra time to adapt and maintain balance in the intestine. In case of setbacks, reverse the dosage/transition to maintain a stable intestine/stomach and nutrient absorption to the max.
