Keratex Hoof Putty - 200 g

Keratex Hoof Putty can be used to repair and seal holes in a horse's soles, allowing the horse to be released into the pasture. It is very useful after a horse has had a hoof abscess or cracked hoof.

How to use: Thoroughly disinfect the hole and surrounding area. Then it's time to fill. Shape the glue putty in clean hands and press into the cavity until you have a tight plug for best results. It is a semi-permanent wax that seals and stabilizes the hoof crack. It prevents dirt and mud from getting stuck in the hole and harming the healing process. The glue filling mixture also disinfects, making it a perfect aid for healing from pressure sores, boils and cavities.

Keep in mind that the putty will be hard when it is in the can but will soften in your hands as you shape it.
