Standard Blood Meal
Natural iron supplement, also good for tracking and retrieval training.
Standard Bloodmeal is a pure natural product and contains natural minerals such as iron. Bloodmeal also contains other substances that are important for the life process, such as Selenium, Zinc, Copper and Magnesium.
Recommended for young animals, pregnant animals and those who exercise a lot to build muscle mass. Blood meal stimulates the formation of red blood cells and is an important part of maintaining the body's natural defenses. In addition, it contributes to increased oxygenation, which stimulates the growth of muscles, which increases the animal's strength and condition. Blood powder can also provide a stronger, denser and shinier coat.
If you cook your own food and use white meat such as chicken, turkey or other poultry, blood meal is a good addition. It is also recommended to add Standard Blood Meal to pork, lamb, tripe and fish. These ingredients are anemic and a blood/iron supplement increases the nutritional content of the home-cooked food. Blood meal is absorbed independently of other food intake and the dose is optimized with respect to the components included. Iron is absorbed independently of other foods, but keep in mind that it inhibits calcium absorption if they are consumed together.

Dog/kg:
0-5 kg - 0.5 tsp.
5-10 kg - 1 tsp.
10-20 kg - 1.5 tsp.
20-30 kg - 2 tsp.
30+ kg - 1+ tbsp.
Cat/kg:
0-2.5 kg - 1 krm.
2.5-5 kg - 2 krm.
5+ kg - 1+ tsp.
The dosage should be distributed over all meals of the day. Should be phased in by +1/4 dose each week until the full dose is reached.
1 teaspoon = about 2 grams.
