When horses are working, or in hot weather, they regulate their body temperature by sweating. Sweating helps the horse not only lose fluid through evaporation, but also vital body salts, particularly sodium, chlorides, potassium, calcium and magnesium. Electro Salter helps replace the important salts lost through sweating. It should be fed after hard work and regularly during periods of hot weather. It can be easily fed either in the feed or dissolved in water.
