Sprenger Pelham rubber hard mouth long shank

A pelham bit with a mouthpiece made of inflexible rubber and stainless steel side pieces from Sprenger. A bit that offers you more control if you have a strong but still sensitive horse. The bit works by applying pressure to the tongue and bridle, and via the cheek chain under the chin. Thanks to the rubber mouthpiece, the pressure on the tongue and bridle is gentler than if you choose a mouthpiece made entirely of steel, but stronger than if you choose a mouthpiece made of flexible rubber. The amount of pressure in the different places can be varied by using two reins, or you can use a pelham delta and get an evenly distributed pressure.
